Acupuncture Channels

Do Exercise of Clapping Hands improve our immune system ?.?
Zhao suggests clapping hands is a simple and convenient way to improve your health. The principle and function of the exercise are similar to those of some TCM therapies, such as Acupuncture, moxibustion and massage. By clapping your hands, you stimulate the acupuncture points and remove obstacles from the main and collateral channels, which form a network of passages — through which vital energy circulates and along which the acupuncture points are distributed — on your palms. This will help you expel, through your fingertips, the cold and toxins in your body. It will also enhance blood circulation. As a result, it will improve your immune system.
When you perform the exercise, first clap your hands lightly, and gradually increase the strength. You may practice clapping your hands any time you wish, whether you are lying in bed, walking or standing. This is a great exercise for people confined to wheelchairs and the elderly who have difficulty getting about
I just learned about this last night and how it’s good for the immune system. I didn’t know you have to start with light claps and then gradually increase the strength nor you can practice it any time you wish. What I heard was that you can not do this exercise when you’re full (right after eating). So the best time for me is in the morning before breakfast. I don’t do light claps at all because it’s so time consuming. They said if you do heavy claps, you only need to do 5 minutes a day. Today’s my first day doing this exericse, so I wouldn’t know if it’s actually good for the immune system. We’ll see
Update on the 3rd day: I just got a bruise on my palm after clapping..but my hands feels good
Update on the 3rd evening: The toxic does not release from your fingertips, they are release throught illness(es) that you have but are suppressed, and might show up as something worse in the future if you don’t do this exercise (which is kind of confusing to me. Wish there is an english book about this topic). On my first evening, I got seasonal allergy that I hasn’t have for a couple of years, but I supress it last night with a medication. On my 3rd evening (tonight), my left waist (behind) hurts so bad out of nowhere as if I’m an old lady, which I am not. They said you can lose around 6 lbs by the 3rd week. But we’ll see.
